YSR Congress Party is the name for Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy new political party. A tri colour flag of the ‘YSR Congress Party' will be unfurled at Idupulapaya at 2.29 p.m. on Saturday. Announcing this at a public meeting, Mr. Jagan said that the flag would be released by himself and his mother Y.S. Vijayalakshmi at a simple programme.
Initially Mr. Jagan planned to make it a grand event. Since the model code of conduct is in force, decided to make it a simple affair. A three-day plenary of the new party would also be conducted after the by-election to Kadapa Parliamentary seat. Party's agenda will be to wipe the tears of poor and make them smile. Announcement it in detail after the plenary that includes a brainstorming session. Mr. Jagan was elected as the national president of YSR Congress Party last month and the Election Commission informed about the changes in the party office-bearers.
