Runjhun waits for Guddu, while Guddu drinks. The sky suddenly lights up with lightning and it starts pouring rain. Amma at home is startled awake and wonders why the sudden rain. She thinks that Runjhun must be scared of the lightning. She quickly rises and rushes towards Runjhun's room.
Runjhun standing in the rain, is missing Amma. She says when ever it used to rain and thunder like that Amma used to come and console her fears. She's turns towards Guddu but he hasn't moved. Amma goes to Runjhun's room and calls out for Runjhun. She tells her not to be scared, and that she's here. When she turns on the light she sees that no one is there. She wonders if Runjhun is downstairs, and goes down.
Runjhun is waiting, all the while feeling uneasy and restless. Two men come and look at her leeringly and tell her that they will take her to a better place. Runjhun says she's waiting for her husband and tells them to leave. They grab her and say they will treat her like her husband, and Runjhun calls out for Guddu.
Amma goes down and knocks on Guddu's room calling out for Runjhun, and sees that the room is empty. She is now worried. She wonders if she should wake the uncles but then decides against it as it will only create a ruckus and no help. She prays and recites the hanuman chalisa.
Runjhun calls for Guddu. He doesn't seem to react but the men see that it's Guddu and say they can't touch Bhabhi and quickly leave from there. Amma is still fervently praying that Runjhun is alright.
The bar owner tells Guddu to leave as it is time for closing. He's leaving and sees Runjhun waiting. He shakes his head and walks over towards his bike. He asks her why she didn't leave when he specifically told her to. Runjhun says she told him she would wait. He complains that she's very stubborn. he tells her if she's going to be stubborn, he's going to be stubborn and never return to Pandey Nivas. He says he's never going to return. Runjhun is staggering from being int he rain. Guddu turns and looks towards her. He calls out to her, but she doesn't respond. He rushes to her side and catches her before she can fall. Runjhun faints and Guddu sits with her for a while wondering what to do next.
(This might be a cliched scene but the reactions from both party make it so unique)
Runjhun is working on the chain, and Guddu looks away. Runjhun is still working on the chain when her entire family, mamis first, come rushing to her room. They are curious to see Guddu and Runjhun in such a position. Amma rushes into the room, too. Runjhun and Guddu pull apart and Amma rushes in and asks Runjhun what happened. Why she screamed? She asks Runjhun if Guddu said or did something. She turns to Guddu and asks him. Runjhun says nothing of the sort happened. She lies and says that there was a rat, and Guddu got scared so he screamed. LOL
Amma asks her why she screamed, and Runjhun says that she screamed, as she got scared because Guddu was screaming. The mamis are not convinced and Mittho makes snide remarks about what really was happening. Kalsanwali and Billo follow suit. Guddu doesn't say anything. Amma tells them to shut up. She tells Runjhun that she was looking for her and asks her where she was and why she's wet. Guddu looks at Runjhun, before he leaves the room, leaving Runjhun to do the explaining. Runjhun thinks she can't tell Amma about her going to the bar. She lies and says that she was out with Guddu and it started raining.
Mittho asks why she was out with Guddu and what she was doing. Rajju tells her not to interfere in the matters of husband and wife and pushes everyone out of the room. The mamis come back after a while peering from the door to listen. Amma asks Runjhun if she was scared of the lightning. Runjhun shakes her head and says she was with GUddu, and she was trying to explain to him that he shouldn't harass them. She lies and says that Guddu seemed to be listening to her. Amma doesn't question it, and telsl Runjhun to change quickly. Rajju comes and gathers the three Mamis and tells them not to listen in on other's conversation.
Amma also leaves, and Runjhun feels guilty about telling such a big lie to Amma. She says that Guddu doesn't seem to be listening to her either. She says she has to keep the nirjala (without water) fast for her wishes and prayers to come true.
Next morning Billo is studying her jewelry wondering which one she should wear. Mittho peers in. She smiles and calls out for Billo, who hides her jewelry. Billo tries to keep Mittho away formt eh jewelry and asks Mittho why she is keeping an eye on her room. Mittho says that she's worried about yesterdays incident when Guddu and Runjhun were getting comfortable with each other. Billo says she was worried too. Mittho says what will happen if Runjhun and Guddu really et hitched for life and Guddu takes Runjhun away from the house. Mittho unveils Billos jewelry and says that all of this will lose their shine. Billo covers her jewelry back up. She says that they have to give Guddu his money and get him out of here, because Runjhun is the "pati vrata" type and has already accepted Guddu as her husband. They say they should pay Guddu and show him the exit.
Kalsanwali comes and shares the same idea and gloats about it. Mittho says that they already thought of this before. Mittho says that if Runjhun and Guddu get together then all will be lost for them so they have to separate them.
Precap: Runjhun brings prasad for Guddu. He says that she's is his biggest problem. His biggest worry. She tells him to take the prasad and she won't show her face to him. He takes the prasad, and Runjhun turns around to leave. Guddu throws the prasad at Runjhun's feet.
