Tunna and Chandu try to pacify a angry Pratigya, Pratigya tells them to mind their own Business and not to call her Bhabhi anymore , since they too were part of the deceit ..Pratigya turns to Krishna, gives him her undivided attention and question’s his claims on masculintiy and also raises doubts on his earning Prowess.. Pratigya continues the tirade for few more minutes , Denounces Krishna, his character , his integrity . and rushes out..Tunna and Chandu urge Krishna to stop her .. Krishna refuses to do says saying that in the present condition the conflict may actually escalate.Krishna is more worried as to what Pratigya will tell the family.
Pratigya is on the rikhshwa thinking about the lies Krishna told her, her innate trust in , she is crying .
Pratigya walks into the house only to encounter a recumbent Sajjan Singh, over whom a doctor is bending ..The doctor is taking his vitals..Sajjan Singh asks him when can he leave for his work, cos it is piling up and leading to losses ..But the Doctor firmly replies that Sajjan Singh has become completely weak and order Bed Rest. Sajjan Singh in his inimitable style discards Doctors advice and proceeds to get up from the cot , takes a step or two..and he is affected by a coughing spell.Ghanti Dadi and Amma help him back to the bed ..This procedure is watched in concern by Pratigya and in guilt by Shakthi.
Amma takes this opportunity to curse her luck of begetting stone hearted , useless Sons..Shakthi Looks very guilty..
NIGHT AT HAVELI
Krishna, Tunna,Chandu arrive at Thakur Nivas .Krishna is scared to enter the house. Krishna orders Tunna and Chandu to go in and gauge the atmosphere and report back to him..The cowardly Tunna ANd Chandu decline to be heroes by saying that If they enter the house, The situation may actually get worse..Krishna knows that they are being cowardly, seeks the favors of heaven to keep him alive at the same time orders his friends to keep the bike nearby to make a fast getaway , in case he needed to..Krishna’s friends promises to do his bidding ..
Krishna comes down, pauses for few second on the doorway, screws up his courage and peeps in..Sajjan Singh is resting on the bed, Shakthi and Ghanti Dadi are glued to their respective Seats.Krishna comes in and hurries off or at least tries to move quietly to his room..Sajan Singh stops Krishna and tells him to sit by his side.Amma comes down from her Bedroom, gives a stern look at Krishna ,shouts out to Piyasiya to get Aarthi Plate..Krishna is scared a all this attention and is wondering whether the whole family are going to give him third degree..
Piyasiya comes with the Aarthi plate, Amma with a huge grin ,begins to take Aarthi and tells Krishna that Krishna has made Sajjan Singh a proud and Happy Man..Krishna is Puzzled .Krishna tries to wiggle out of this by saying that he is feeling tired and he needs rest ..Sajjan Singh calls him to his side and affectionately tells him to relax on the cot ..Sajjan Singh also says that today you have proved that you are indeed Sajjan Singh’s son..You have kept ur word and won the challenge .Krishna is puzzled and is mumbling when Amma cuts in with her gripe.Amma complains that everything is fine, but she would have been happier had Krishna himself had given the days wages instead of sending it through Pratigya.Sajjan Singh ticks Amma off albeit in a gentle way.
Krishna has a mentos moment and his dimag ki Bhathhi jalofies.Krishna realizes that Pratigya has given the money , his face lightens up , a grin steals up on his face and he smiles at Pratigya//Pratigya returns the smile with a stony look..But the Sensitive Krishna has not picked it up and is too relieved to even notice that Pratigya is looking very Serious.
After a while ,
Krishna comes into their bedroom , hurriedly closes the door and hugs a still seething Pratigya from behind..Krishna is elated at his escape..Krishna praises Pratigya for saving his sorry behind ,praises Pratigya saying none can be like her, she is unique ..Krishna continues to extrapolate saying that Now bauji is happy, Shakthi has to go to work and everything will be as usual..Pratigya who had been listening to his ravings numbly, gives a sarcastic grimace, coldly asks Krishna whether Krishna is not interested to know How Pratigya got the money..Krishna is struck by man mein ladoo phoota moment . Krishna innocently and inerestedly asks how Pratigya got the Money..In answer Pratigya turns away, presenting her back and begins adjusting the bed in total silence..Krishna gets up and again asks her in an normal tone..Pratigya is still silent..Slowly anger replaces the good humor, he again asks only to be met silence.. He grabs hold of Pratigya’s wrist in a vice like grip,His voice changes and in an angry and suspicious tone he demands to know the source of the Money.Pratigya angrily informs Krishna that he is hurting her.Krishna is unmindful of that, still maintaining the vice like grip,breaking the bangles of her Hand , Krishna growls to know how Pratigya came by so much Money..Pratigya looks at the broken bangles on the floor , then at him but still maintains her anger and does not reply.
