Everyone is greeting each other. Urmila greets & colours Hetal who reciprocates. When she goes to do the same with Koki, Koki greets & stops her from putting colour. Next Dh comes & the same happens. He then goes & falls on Nani while greeting her, Kin makes faces (very good, just like sasumaa ) then he tries to put on Kin, but she pushes him. UrShi are watching, Urmila is smiling. Rashi: Good thing, you came Mummy. What can I tell you? This kagdi has made my life hell. She’s made me work so much. Urmila: What happened? Rashi: Gopi got Rs 5000 as shagun. Urmila’s mouth drops open in shock. Rashi: Kagdi gave me too Rs 5000. Urmila is mouth drops open in delight Rashi: But then she took back Rs 3000 into her beak saying that she’ll use it to pay my mobile bill. Urmila makes a face (What’s new?) Then Rashi: Moreover, now it seems to me as if that chest is not in my destiny. Urmila: What should I say, dikra? Something about Kagdi in Gujrati, probably something on the lines of Kagdi needs excuses, (sorry didn’t understand) First of all, she poured water on my AC plans & then there’s the nakhre of choti kagdi. Really, I tell you dikra, I feel till I hadn’t met these Modis I was really happy. Now my state is such that thinking up new kalakaris is making my brain explode! (Really you have brains, could’ve fooled us, what with your failure rate) Rashi: Mummy, what are you saying! If you lose hope, what will happen to me? Urmila: Ok, ok. Just wait. She turns her evil eye on poor Gopi & a plan hatches in her exploding. She looks at Gopi & then at the sweet box in her hands. Urmila: I have a plan to break this milk maiden. I’ll just feed her laddoo & come. Rashi outraged: What!? You’ll feed laddoo to Gopi & not to me! Everyone is praising Gopi! Urmila: Wait! I’m telling you wait. I’m getting a brainwave (oww, poor Urmila’s brains. When will they explode in reality so that we get some respite from her kalakaris? ) Both turn their evil eyes on Gopi.
Mani: Gopi bhabi, go & enjoy. Gopi sends her off to get water before Gopi joins others. Urmila comes & wishes Gopi: It’s your first holi in your sasural & I thought I feed you sweets. She opens the box which probably contains bhang laced sweets & looks everywhere & feeds her. Rashi angrily stalks off. Gopi wants to feed Urmila, but she refuses saying she’s put on weight (I think, since it was in Guj again ) She feeds Gopi again & is satisfied & leaves happily.
PART 2
Everyone dancing with Ahem looking on. Dh tells him he’ll have to play holi with them & throws colours. Ahem shouts: Enough! I told you I don’t like colours. Gopi watching all this from far with a smile. Nani also hears this. Dh tells his friends to leave Ahem who stalks off & all laugh that sala saheb doesn’t like holi. Gopi gets an idea & touches her cheeks. Kin goes to Gopi asks what is there to eat. Gopi gives a cheeky smile & says Laddoo & leaves. Next we see her picking some colour in her hands & going towards Ahem who’s brushing his clothes. She goes behind ahem & puts the colour on his cheek, his nostrils flare with anger (while he’s feeling Gopi’soft hands caressing his cheeks ) He catches the hand & pulls her to face him. Kin, Rashi & urmila are watching this with varying expressions ranging from shock to delight. Gopi comes in Ahem’s view with a million-dollar smile. Ahem is shocked to see her. Gopi: Ahemji, Holi mubarak! Nani & Urmila are happy while Rashi looks upset. Ahem: What are you doing? Dh comes clapping & says now Ahem looks as if he belongs to their brotherhood & asks Gopi to hold him there & he’ll get lots of colour to colour Ahem. Gopi nods her assent. Ahem shrugs off her hand: What’s all this? What have you done? Gopi confused: What’s this Ahemji? Why do you carrying your anger on the tip of your nose? (I’m doing a literal translation as it was really funny to hear Gopi say this to Ahem of all the people) Urmila is delightfully shocked & covers her mouth. Rashi too is happy. Gopi: Ahemji, do you know? Anger is not good for your health. Don’t you know? And my endeavours are always to bring a smile to your lips like this. She points to her mouth with that gorgeous smile & Ahem can only gape at her in stupefication. Urmila is giving her toothy smile too. Gopi: One more thing, Ahemji. Do you know, when you smile you look very nice. Ahem is speechless, literally Gopi: So so nice. One more thing, just one more thing. I can’t live without you. Ahem is shocked & stares at her! Nani is happy. Urmila: Today Gopi’s a goner. Rashi delighted: Mummy, what have you done! Urmila: Wait & watch further. Meanwhile Gopi isn’t finished. Gopi: Most definitely can’t live without you! Ahem regains his senses, finally: Gopi. Gopi shushes him: 1 min Ahemji, don’t move. There’s gulaal under your eye. I’ll just remove it otherwise it’ll go into your eye. Look this way & I’ll remove it. She blows into his eye. Ahem is embarrassed & Nani is hugely enjoying the show. Gopi: Now it’s gone. OK? Ahem can only look at her.
PART 3
Nani comes & praises Gopi for colouring Ahem. In answer, Gopi again turns to colour Ahem who holds her hands. Ahem: Nani: I don’t like colours & neither do I like holi where first you put the colour & then keep scrubbing to remove them. Nani: Till when will you follow your mother’s views. This is only gulaal, not some fast colour. Gopi: Yes Ahemji this is only gulaal & you know I don’t anything which will anger you.Right? Nani: You have won one victory & now let’s go colour your saas. Gopi: No Naniji, Maaji will get angry & due to me you’ll also get scoldings. We’ll do one thing, we’ll leave maaji & colour someone else. She turns to Ahem: Ahemji, I’ll be back. Ahem is speechless Gopi & Nani leave watched by Ahem.
UrShi watch all this. Urmila: Why is this Doshi letting Gopi make tamasha & not reprimanding her? In fact, she’s provoking her to do more. Gopi & Nani are dancing. Urmila gets one more brainwave in her already overused brain Urmila: Rashi, this is the right time. The chest is yours now. Koki is looking for Gopi, if Gopi got Mani to put old newspapers & towels outside for people to wipe themselves while entering the house. Koki: It’s useless to tell Rashi this as she’s nowhere to be seen.
Urmila: Let the Doshi enjoy herself while we go & see what’s there in the chest. As it is the whole family is enjying holi celebrations. Let’s go! Rashi: What! As it is that Doshi has put a huge lock on the chest & the key is on her person. Urmila: What? Go & get it from her then. She pushes Rashi towards Nani.
Nani & Gopi are dancing. Rashi comes & starts dancing with Nani, but Gopi pushes her away & starts dancing with Nani. Rashi tries her hardest to get in between them, but to no avail. Rashi signals her helplessness, Urmila signals to send Gopi to her. Rashi tells Gopi that Urmila wants her, but Rashi asks if Mamiji will scold her. Rashi: No, no, she has some work. Gopi leaves.
Ahem is washing his face outside the tent & Koki comes there. She’s surprised to see Ahem’s coloured face, who asks why such festivals were made wherein everyone goes mad, & don’t know what they’re doing & with whom. Koki takes the towel & starts cleaning his face. Koki: Ahem, have you seen Gopi? Ahem: Mom, pls don’t take her name. You don’t know what she’s done today. He leaves & Koki is left wondering where’s her Gopi vau.
Gopi goes to Urmila who says: Now that Rashi does all the cleaning, you must be free. As your saas doesn’t like untidiness. Rashi is trying to get the keys. Gopi: You want me to go & do work? Rashi is successful & Urmila tells Gopi to enjoy herself. UrShi leave for the house.
Gopi is left wondering who to colour. She goes to colour Dh & then to clean the house. Dh & Gopi have a cute convo.
UrShi wipe themselves clean so that no one knows they’re there in the house. Nani is looking for Rashi & Gopi, she wants to put colour on Kin. Koki comes asking if Nani saw Gopi who’s going into the house with coloured footprints.

Rashi: Nani must’ve kept the chest keys in the cupboard & thses keys are for the cupboard. Urmila: Go quickly & open. Rashi opens the cupboard & finds the keys. UrShi put the key in the chest lock.
