Pratigya 10th February 2011 Written Update

Tanthya is happy cos finally Gaadi patri pe aarahi hai…Jingalal, jing jingala jing , urr,urr..Yahoooooo…There I have shed my excess happiness and now will start my update like a proper story teller..gather around ladies and let me begin the tale…

It is a dark, chilly night , the silver moons are beaming through the window panes of Kesar’s room, in this gloom walks Shakthi like a dark,marauding murderer [which he is ofc ] he comes and sits on the bed , watches Kesar sleeping, his face twists in hatred and His hands enclose around her slender neck and he begins to squeeze her neck methodically and with increasing pressure, Kesar wakes up and her eyes fastens on Shakhti and she begins to thrash and toss about and in sudden surge of strength pushes him away from the bed, Shakhti falls on the ground and vanishes [Kya bhoot bangaya hai kya, kaise vanish hogaya ] Kesar gets up from the bed and realizes that she just had a nightmare.

In The Lovers paradise Trouble is brewing , Krishna has suddenly developed a tongue and instead of merely nodding his head at Pratigya’s dikatat is actually arguing with her{isski Ithni Himmat , ka bey, bauji jovan kaha, woh sunke ,Muh ki tala kholdiya beta] Krishna is patiently explaining to a mulish Pratigya that whatever happened is fate, till yesterday Kesar was treated like a pariah and today she has become the queen, all because she carries the precious cargo …this was her destiny, The Mulish Pratigya delivers a strong kick by saying that not everything can be left to fate, It is Man himself who creates and destroys his destiny..even the food will not leap from the plate to the mouth, one has to use the hand to take the food from the plate to the mouth.[ wah kya point pakkdi hai, sahi baat]…Krishna rejoins by saying that U [Pratigya] studied in a Lucknow university, did she ever think that she will be marrying an uneducated man , yet she finds herself married to one, That is fate explains Krishna triumphantly [Wah Wah Wah Kya point pakkda hai, bilkul sahi kaha [ab aap dono ki jagde main Tanthya Khud conphuj hogayi bey ], But The masterni puts a dampener on this brilliant counter point by saying that Krishna is indulging in useless talk and bringing up irrelevant issues to prove his side [Kya Baath hai beta, u can use eating analogy to put ur POV across, Krishna cant talk about the marriage issue to prove his..Yeh bantha nahi hai Boss ]..Pratigya once again emphatically exclaims that FATE DOES NOT MAKE MAN, MAN CREATES HIS OWN DESTINY. A confused Krishna wants to know whether Pratigya is telling him or asking him , A furious and affronted Pratigya stalks of regally and bangs the door of the Bathroom shut !! Krishna is left lamenting about the unpredictability of women *** theeee-heee-hee , hahahaha **

MACBETHS BEDROOM

Sajjan Singh has twigged on to the fact that the Kesar who has come back is not the same Kesar[ Yes Bauji, u are so right, this one is Alaika Shiek while the old one was Kalpana Bora ..no amount of dark paint can hide the face can it] …Sajjan Singh cautions Amma and tells Amma to keep a constant covert watch on Kesar , Amma says she will take care of Kesar [ Herself, tho Pratigya ko kaun badnaam karega, zandu balm ??] ..Amma also urges Sajjan Singh to get Shakthi out as soon as possible. Sajjan Singh tells her he is working on getting Shakthi out and does not need a remainder..

A CLOUDY SUNRISE IN SACHAI”S HOUSE

All the preaching Saxena’s are gathered quietly around the dining table[No, No one has died and NO , NO Aarushi has not done the runner again] All are busy getting stuffed,it is the eager beaver Adarsh who rises from the table , wishes everyone and begins to go for his kaam, Naianaji notices that Principled and obedient Beta Adarsh has left behind his Lunch Box and rushes to give it to him [Ithni Teekhi nazar apne bete pe, kabhi kabhi Professor par bhi dyan dho ] But Adarsh politely declines it saying he feels kind of weird eating alone cos everyone of the bank employees get food from outside and more over he does not want to be seen eating from a Lunch box after his promotion ,Adarsh succinctly puts it as a STATUS Issue [ Adarsh Bhaiya, aapke tho par nikhal aa raha hai, Zara sambhalke kahin hawa mein udd na jaave] …The Lecture loving Professor stands up and begins that it is not a matter of status , we have always eaten home cooked food and there is no need to feel ashamed of it now , Adarsh says that there is no need for such a brouhaha over a simple Lunch box and leaves without taking the lunch box but leaving a uneasy silence behind him.

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER NOUTANKI

Amma strolls in to Kesar’s bedroom , only to be checked in her stride by the absence of Kesar in that room,Amma panics and thinks that Perhaps Kesar has done a Midnight Marathon .Amma rushes out and calls out to Piyasiya. Amma tells Piyasiya to look for Kesar in the terrace and in all the Bathrooms , Piyasiya rushes to do this task.Piyasiya has searched the terrace and tells amma that Kesar is not to be found upstairs, Amma begins to pray aloud to various Gods , Seeking their intervention in bringing back Kesar. Ghanti Dadi who had been sitting silently on the chair like a Beached whale ,opens her mouth and states that it was a good thing to happen.Amma sharply tells her to speak of good things. Sajjan Singh who had gone on his morning walk saunters in and enquires the reason for the hullabaloo , Amma bleats out that Kesar has gone missing, Sajjan Singh is jolted, stunned,shocked..Sajjan Singh coldly wants to know how the escapade was possible, The foxy Amma turns and points a quivering finger at Pratigya and says that Pratigya must have helped Kesar to escape…Pratigya protests her innocence..but none are willing to believe, just then Kesar walks in from outside[ Kesar has really become a sherni, wandering out all alone] Amma is relieved , She softly tells Kesar to start praying for Shakthi’s [ Kesar's husband] early release from the prison . Kesar clearly states that She will not do any such thing and also she does not consider herself as Shakhti’s Wife anymore [[Yay!!!! Thaaliyan, finally the mute bell has tolled ] …All are shocked to hear this words from the docile Kesar.
