Saath Nibhana Saathiya 10th February 2011 Written Update

Part 1
The epi begins with Koki coming down the stairs to respond
to the door bell. No one has unlocked the door. She curses Mani and opens the door
to the milkman. Who asks for Gopi’s
health. Hetal has arrived by now, Koki
takes the milk and then calls for Rashi, who is in deep sleep. Finally Jigar wakes up and tries to wake up
Rashi. Rashi is still in sleep and says
what is with this kagari and Jigar frowns and asks what did you say? Rashi says I was dreaming of a crow. Both go down.
Koki says what were you doing?
Are we excepted to take the milk and still take all the responsibilities?
Rashi – I didn’t know I was supposed to.
Koki – if Gopi is no longer here
then who is going to do all her work? You right? Hetal tries to be helpful by saying she will
do it from tomorrow. Koki says now get
the breakfast ready and leaves. Hetal tells Rashi to ask for help if she needs
it and also walks away to get the aarti ready.
Jigar says don’t worry I will get you up really early from now on.
Next we are at the dinning table with Rashi serving. Koki
takes something in her mouth that doesn’t taste good. Then Aham takes a bite of his dhokla with chutney
and says to Mani what is this, it has no taste, no salt or spice? Mani says Gopi bhabi is not around so Rashi
made the chutney. Aham gets a sour look
on his face. Cue camera for reactions
and music. Finally Koki says Rashi when
will you learn how to do things in the kitchen? This morning you didn’t wake up
for the milk man, now this breakfast?
Forget the chutney these thepla are uncooked! Cue Music and camera. Hetal says the mistake is mine. I should have checked in the kitchen. Because Gopi who looked after the kitchen is
not here. Aham’s face gets even more
sour. Carmera and reaction. Hetal continues that it will take Rashi much
longer to take on the kitchen. Aham can’t
take it any more and gets up from the table as we hear the door bell. Mani opens the door to a man with a big
trunk, then we hear a voice calling for Raji, kamla where are you. cue camera and music.
Part 2
Then we see a handsome older woman yell at Mani to take her
trunk inside. Finally Parag and Koki
realize it is her mom and everyone runs to the front hallway. Everyone goes to touch her feet and Aham goes
to pay the rickshaw wala. Finally Koki
goes to her mom who calls her a gol matol (chubby girl I think) to the delight
of Rashi. Everyone hears Rashi’s snicker
and turn toward her. Camera/Music. Naani – who is she? Jigar says it is my wife. Naani asks Rashi over to herself. And wants to know why were you laughing when
I was being affectionate towards my dikri?
My older daughter and two sons are very fair and Koki was darker so that
is why I call her koyali (I believe it is a black bird of sorts that sings and
that is what Kokila means) She continues
that I have met Jigar’s wife where is Aham’s wife? Everyone looks scared. Camera/music. Rashi tries to speak but is
silenced by Koki. Nani walk over to
Rashi and checkout her earings. While everyone is relieved that Naani got
distracted. Naani then asks for
Baa. Hetal says I will take you to
Baa. Naani goes now I remember what I
forgot Kayali where is your bahu. Camera/loud
music.
Part 3
Kayali I am asking you something, where is Aham’s wife?
Naani continues. Koki says she has gone
to her pihar. Naani – You did tell me
that both girl’s are sisters. They look
after both homes back and forth. Koki tries
to interrupt and says that is not the case but Naani doesn’t let her
finish. I am very happy that that your
bahu’s look after their pihar (parent’s home) unlike you who forgot her pihar
once she left. Rashi is delighted by all
this. Some more chastising in Gujrati. Naani then says I didn’t give you a warning
that I was coming because I wanted to meet the real bahus. Now I find out that one bahu has gone to look
after her pihar. Koki that is not the true.
Hetal says let’s leave all this and go for breakfast. Naani says make sure my trunk is looked after
because in it I have gifts for the bahus.
Rashi gets her greedy face on as Hetal tells Mani to put the trunk in
THE guest room. *Does that mean what I
think it means? Could Aham move back in with Gopi to make room for Naani? Excited by the possibility* Koki is not
please by the events!
Part 4
We are back at the Shah house where Dhawal has brought
Kinjal tea in bed. She wakes up to the
sound of Dhawal stiring sugar in the tea.
She is all rude to him for waking her and says she doesn’t drink tea because
it makes you dark. Dhawal – I drink tea
all the time but our colour is the same.
Kinjal doesn’t like Dhawal close to her and runs off to the
bathroom. Gopi comes in to call a sad
Dhawal to breakfast. Gopi – what is
wrong? Is everything okay? Dhawal finally says will I ever make Kinjalji
happy? She is still thinking of her
pihar. Gopi says it is possible. She
thinks they are probably all sitting for breakfast there. But never mind I know what she likes and I
will make it. Dhawal says if she is
happy then I will be as well. Please
make her favourite food.
At the MM everyone is sitting at breakfast and Rashi is
speculating what gift naani brought her.
Now that Gopi is gone maybe I get both gifts. Naani says that I will tell you what I
brought once Gopi comes back home. When
she goes to try the chutney Koki tries to stop her but Naani says it is
good. Rashi is all happy. Naani says tell me when is your sister coming
back? When is Aham bringing her
back? Camera/Music. She
continues that you’re sisters, right? Usually
when two girls are brought up together they are best friends or enemies. Rashi say we are best friends of course. Koki says sarcastically yes Gopi is your best friend. Naani interrupts that next time I eat it will
be after I have seen your wife Aham.
When are you bringing her back?
Aham looks like this time he eat something bitter. Some reactions from Koki and Hetal but Naani
get up and say I am going to my room and let’s go to Koki. We are left with Aham who looks resigned to his upcoming fate is! And frame freezes on his face. Forgot to describe his look! Black suit, blue stripped shirt no tie. He looks mighty fine when he knows things
have gone out of his control very quickly.
Precap of Kal
Urmi opens to a fantastic looking Aham and looses her
voice. She joins her hands to say jai
Shree Krishna.
Comments from the sidelines!
Okay that is it for today.
Sorry if I injected too much of my opinions in the above. For some reason I couldn’t help myself. I know how annoying it can be when the writer
taints what they write by their own thoughts and conjectures! I will do better next time.
Jai Shri Krishan! or Jai Ramji! Have a fantastic day/evening everyone!
