SCENE 1……
Goa
Ishaan (in a soft pink shirt…. looks cute) tells Suhana that he just mentioned that she is an older version of Pammiji…….She retaliates his statement and says not to make her angry…and r u like her husband that u listen to every word of hers… Tell me…. which word of mine did u ever hear??… He says ” Aur nahin toh kya?? i heard every word of yours….which i din listen tell me?? She says she had ordered the breakfast in the room…. did he order?… he scratches his head…. and then woh……s he is too glad and gives a big smile… he holds his ears and says ok…ok…. she tells today in breakfast we will try something experimental…….. he says no experimental… yest’s ajoobha khana is still not forgotten…. she may experiment if she wants…. he will go for simple cheese omlette….She says he is such a boring person… anyways she is not interested in eating within the room as of now and will go to the beach and have khana there itself…. puts the cap on his head…holds his hand and marches to the beach…
CAM zooms to the top view of a beautiful Minar… with birds chirping on it….(classic view) then to the verandah of the Kashyap parivaar…..
Badimaa’s room
BM folding some bedsheets…… RB in the same room…. putting the bedsheet on the bed while trying to make a call constantly…. BM opens the wardrobe and removes a bedsheet and tries to put it on the bed…. her face is straight and as if her mind is busy…. RB sees BM and says what is she doing… She had just spread the bedsheet…. then RB again moves to the side and tries to call up …. meanwhile… BM not happy with that statement complaints about the bedsheet and says it is not nice…. see it…. and what Radha… what was she doing on the phone from when…. RB tells she is trying to contact Panna from when to enquire whether Raunak is come… BM gets hyper and says How is it possible… if Raunak wud have come… Panna wud have called up na… and again it is not good to call up at their place like that…. She takes the phone from RB’s hands…. RB just looks at BM as she gets to understand that she is damn worried about Panna… Rano enters asking whether there is phone here as she has been trying to contact but with no result…. She complaints that Ishaan has not called up and she is worried… hope he is fine there..BM meanwhile moves her fingers on the phone and dials Panna but cuts it…. listening to Rano….. BM gets irritated ….. RB is just constantly observing BM…. BM says why is Rano so much worried about Ishaan…Rano says def. she will be worried na…. he is gone to a new place an Suhana is with him… he needs to take care of her …. BM says he is not a kid…. he has taken his wife and he knows his responsibilities…. she need not tie him with her pallu anymore…. Rano looks at BM in shock as she never expected such a cold response from her and she had just casually been worried about Ishaan…. as a mother wud be…BM says look…. Am i worried about Panna…. Am i crying…. and she breaks down… tears don’t listen to her for the first time…. it responds more to the fear of the mother in her and just flows…. she breaks down… she says I am not crying… I am not worried…. i am fine……. RB and Rano both hurry and hold BM on either sides giving her emotional support… … BM breaks down completely…..(What a performance Supriyaji…. u r just awesome today…… i am lost for emoticons for this scene….friends…. as my eyes turned moist….this was the only apt emoticon left…. for this entire scene…..)
SCENE 2……
Goa….
Back to Goa… scene opens with the sun peeping with its bright rays from the dark clouds…. indicating the dawn…. the churches r shown….back to the beach view…. with lovely trees besides the shore…..
The couple…Sushaan in their world…. enjoying the calm breeze….. Suhana on Ishaan’s feet….Ishaan holding her from back and both walking along….(…. need to be seen…)….The cam moves to the top angle to show them walk merrily… the waves too get life and shows up its merriness by spreading out its silvery anklet like form and embracing the feet of the couple as they walk….. They play in those lovely waves…. sharing their passion with it…. Ishaan lifting Suhana…. running around…. holding her on his back…. the dusk makes its mark and embraces them with its soft presence…….. and kisses the waves with its soft light…lighting up the waves too….. and making the view most beautiful with the couple on screen…….
The Cam zooms to the couple now resting in the beach chair…. Suhana asks our Hero for a body massage…. He says how can he… Suhana says so what she is his wife….He says it is a public place…. She says…. can he or can he not…?..He nods no…. She calls for a tourist…. and asks him for a body massage… Shameless guy readily agrees too……. immediately comes…….Ishaan gets damn panicky and tries to drive him out….The tourist asks who is he…Suhana tries to take panga and says she does not know him…….The tourist says he is number. 1 to give massage……..Ishaan says what number.1… is this a ration ka line….? Anyways i am her husband… and i will take care … Suhana laughs…. he then sits and presses her leg……. she laughs sideways and then gives him cream to apply…. He makes an embarrased …reluctant expression and takes it….
Chawri bazaar lane….. and then to BM’s room…
BM had tied up her wet hair with a towel….has just had bath and is applying sindoor and looking at her image in the mirror…. she looks worried…. there is a question mark on her face… looks as if she is trying to read it thru her eyes……..Enters Alok…. with a lumpsum money for the monthly expenditure….BM says why so much money? He says it is not only his … but also of Ishaan….BM says but if Ishaan does not give this month…. it is fine too… it is not that if he does not give the expenses won’t be met na… Alok says he had given to him before leaving for HM… BM smiles and says … unnecessarily Alok worries for Ishaan…. he is so responsible…. in all this commotion also he has not forgotten his responsibilities….Alok says atleast for this he is gone on his dad…and how will he forget too? he has seen and grown up seeing our house expenses and all ….with us…. BM nods her head and says this is the advantage of a joint family…. the close knit members do understand and r able to compensate for another in tough times…. but in nuclear families…. it does not work that way…. They will haev to manage all their probs alone….Alok who was a bit light…. gets to understand what is in her mind….. BM looks at him with plain but heavy eyes…. Alok says he knows she is thinking about Panna… she says… who else can she think of in such a moment…….Even we cannot ask her about her needs there….. May be her loan is also too much na…. will it be equivalent to her earning money? Alok says ….Defn. not …. but at the moment he is more worried about Panna than those loans……Alok says he knows everything…Rano has told him all about Panna… all that she is not being accepted even now in Raunak’s family by her MIL…. how can she survive without Raunak there? What will happen to her future? BM looks at Alok and says what does he mean? He says she shud not say retaliate…but kindly understand him…..at this moment Panna needs them and it wud be better if she comes here temporarily of course till Raunak returns…. so that she can feel at home and they r all there to support her …. nothing is over after marraige…. their responsibilities r all still there for her…….. BM makes a reluctant expression…. but Alok tries to convince her otherwise…….(Awesome….. DEVAR…!)
SCENE 3……
Raunak house…..
Panna sitting and correcting the notes…. and her behaviour shows….she is doing the task with a busy mind….. suddenly notices… the meals … the plates r still lying on the table…. hurries to clear them…. then sees the veggies in the basket…. so keeps those plates there only and thinks she will cook aloo mattar for Raunak with tomatoes in it…. she hurriedly cuts the tomatoes….puts them in the bowl of water accidentally instead of the cut potatoes……… then as her hands r wet…. she wipes them on the sofa…. then remembers Raunak does not like those wet patches on the sofa…. gets up and takes a dry cloth and wipes out that on the sofa…. then sees his shirt not ironed… talks to herself…. house is in a mess… clothes not ironed… i better iron it… if Raunak sees all this…. it won’t be good… as he is a cleanliness freak… and starts ironing…FIL drops in to the room…. he says why is she ironing at this odd hour….it is midnight….1.30am….. … She says as she finds time only at night…she better complete all chores…as she does not wanna disappoint Raunak this time…….. she says Raunak might think i am so bad….. then she pauses….. she goes to FIL and says ” Am i really bad papa???” Tears flow heavily from those tender eyes….. those weary eyes of loneliness….. …. FIL with all affection says Who told her she is bad? She is not only a good daughter…. but a good bahu too…..She is ghar ki laxmi…..”. Panna says ” Then papa…. why did Raunak leave me and go???? FIL feels very heavy at this statement …. breaks down …. touches her hair affectionately… and she hugs him….. he gets emotional and says ” arrey mera beta… Raunak will come… surely he will come…..”
PRECAP
GOA……In the bed……… Sushaan….. moments…. Ishaan trying to get intimate with Suhana……… tries to untie her night-robe knots…..she holds his hand……both looking at each other…….
MY CORNER
I wud say i am truly fortunate to get to key in today’s episode…. It was the most beautiful episode with beautiful serious scenes put out in the most simplest way…… the chemistry between the women…. how the unspoken emotions r understood by Rano and RB… how BM tries her best to hold back her emotions but fails badly as she sees history being repeated…. the constant fear of a failed marraige of her life is now morphed into her daughter’s fate …… How will she survive with her MIL…. with no support…..BM’s worries of a mother…. it can’t be better protrayed than this…. can vouch all mothers wud have got possibly emotional watching this mother-daughter’s suffering today……!
Panna…. what can i say…. her quick reflective thots on what to do one after another showed her busy mind…. her lost state…. all ending up with Raunak…. her immense love for him…… showed up today all the more…..in his absence………. She ended up questioning the only doubt that if she was not bad…. why did Raunak isolate her this way????
Alok…..one can say he is the pillar of the family….. he said… WE r THERE….. i guess no one will say whole-heartedly fearing the responsibilites in today’s busy life…. such gems r rare….. … who say….. i EXIST and I do CARE….
ROCKING episode….. Thanks to the SGP unit…. once again i bow.. .. to u … for taking us thru a beautiful journey of emotions……!
Shukran guys….for being here….also need to say. …. for me too to be here with u all sharing my thots……. phir milenge….chalthe chalthe…..
