Both Abha and Karan are in the hospital just a room apart. A paper is shown that has Abha Karan Prasad’s name on it. Karan’s eyes open. He says to himself Abha is somewhere here. She is in this hospital. Dr. Arundati says to someone excuse me form please? She says thank you. The doctor with Abha says to Sid you’ll have to get some tests done. Only after that I’ll be able to say something about her condition. Dr. Arundati says you take him him until then I’ll fill out the form. Abha and Karan are both wheeled away. Karan is awake, but Abha is not. They are heading in the same direction coming from opposite sides. Karan and Abha brush past each other. Dr. Arundati and Sid bump into each other slightly but keep walking past each other. Abha and Karan’s hand touch each other. Karan lets out a faint but loud ABHA. Abha’s eyes open suddenly. Karan is trying to say Abha but is not successful in letting his voice out.

Abha went to college. Thakur says what did you say? college? CP says Pratibha was saying that they want Abha to start studying law again. It’ll be good for Abha. She’ll get a chance to be someone. We also have the sadness of losing a son like Karan. But what can we do? We have to live on. We have to think about Prakash, Lata, and Kanika’s future.
Kanika is flipping through newspapers with the TV on. She seems to be getting bored. She gets up and walks away.
CP and Thakur walk in and sit down. He sees the TV and lamps on. Thakur says no one is even here and still the fan, tv, and lamps are on. Will anyone tell me why is everything on? I saw Shelly bhabhi there. Pratibha says I know beta. I don’t know why Shelly is doing all of this. Why is she ruining the peace of this family? I don’t know. Jaggu says don’t worry beta. You don’t take tension and concentrate on your studies. Sid says don’t take any tension. Everyone’s a joker. I’ll handle everything. You study. Vimal’s words ring in Abha’s ears.
Abha is sitting near her bed writing. Flashbacks are shown with the song “Tadap Tadap” playing. She is writing “Karan it is so difficult living without you. I feel like ending my life right here. She gets up and walks out of the room.
Dr. Arundati says yes mom. I’ve taken Neil to the therapist. Karan is trying to reach for the pen near his side. Dr. Arundati says yeah I don’t know when he’ll…Dr. Arundati sees karan trying to do something. She says maa I’ll call you back later. She goes to Karan. She says Neil what is wrong? You’ve given up so quickly? This is the first step to your recovery. The day you write your first word with this pen that day you understand you’ll be able to speak again. Neil in my childhood I heard a story. You must have heard it too. You’ll never fail if you try. So you keep trying. Keep trying. She places the pen in his hand. She places a piece of paper underneath and is trying to help him when her phone rings. She says one minute and gets up to answer her call.
Ranchod comes upstairs with a glass in his hands. He says Abha. I got coffee for you. He walks in the room and doesn’t see her. Sid sees the little note she wrote and is now worried that she did something stupid to herself. Sid says she’s gonna drive me crazy. He frantically calls out her name and tries to find her. Meanwhile Karan is trying to write on the piece of paper that was provided to him. Ranchod frantically yells her name. He finally sees her standing on the balcony outside.
Precap: Sid says to Vimal (the whole family is there including Shelly) you don’t listen to anybody. Listen to the airline people. He reads the ticket in his hand: Shelly Vimal Prasad. Indore to Mumbai. Shelly looks scared.
