In Daksh's office, Naina is trying to get Daksh on the line, but he has switched the phone off, and they are worried how to get in touch with him, to get the signatures on the documents to be submitted to the Court, for Mr. Chaterjee's case. Naina tells her colleague to call Daksh, and she says "K.P" (Karela Patwardan) is not lifting his telephone. She tries many times, but there is no response from the side of Daksh. She says that there are still two hours to go, and something will come up before that.
In the hospital Lekha is in the doctor's consultation room, and she asks her if she is ready for the surgery, and gets the reply that she is. Daksh, sitting by her side, touches her shoulder, and assures her that all will be well. The doctor too tells her that 80 per chances are that the surgery will be successful. Tells her that as soon as the operation room is ready, they will call her.
In Doli aur Barat, Kaka and Ayush are negotiating and finally, when he hears that the boy is from Delhi, and the girl is from Rajastan, he asks why the wedding is Mumbai? Ayush tells him, "Akriti !". Akriti is in Mumbai, and only she is the best person to do the job. Kaka is very pleased his daughter has made the mark. He is relaxed and let Ayush go. Kaka stretches himself and says, "I too did a lot of work, and now, let me take rest." and he takes their leave. Ayush peeps from the door, and see Akriti is intently reading his visiting card. She almost decides to tear it, and then she puts it carefully in the visiting cards box. Ayush is very happy. Akriti looks out and sees Ayush happily hopping to his car, and she is quite pleased.
In the office of Daksh, the telephone operator is very upset, and says Mr. Chaterjee is very annoyed, and has already called several times. She tells Naina, that Chaterjee was threatening when he was speaking, and asks again, where is this KP gone? Naina is in deep thought. She gets up and tells the girl, to tell the peon get the papers from the court, and she will try and get the signature herself. She thinks that she knows the name of the Maternity Nursing Home, but what is their telephone? She finds it from the directory. When she calls they say, it is not possible to call Daksh, but she insists it is important. The operator says, that he is with Mrs Lekha Patwardan, in the surgery, and it will finish in two hours. Naina is puzzled.
In the meantime, as Daksh and Lekha are in the hospital, and Lekha is admitted, After waiting anxiously for some time, the doctor comes out and tells him, "Your wife's surgery went on perfectly. You can meet her a little later. and now your wife can get a baby, " and she goes away. Naina comes in, and Daksh notices how she came to know he was here. She tells him, not to bother about that, but if he does not sign on these papers he will be in a greater trouble. Then he signs on the papers, and asks Naina how she found out where he was, but she does not answer him. She takes the file and goes away, and Naina has already listened to the doctor and is more exasperated.
She thinks that here is another case of an illegitimate child, and her mind takes her back to her own life, and how she found out that Anjali was not her mother and all the pain she went through after that, and she does not want another child to suffer the same, ans she is very angry with Daksh, for telling lies when he wants every one else to tell the truth. She is misled by circumstantial evidence. In a Court of Law, so many people are thrown behind bars, for the same reason, because the Lawyers are not able to go to the root of the problem and are satisfied with what appears on the surface.
When Daksh sits in his car, Naina has already given the papers to the peopn and told him to go to the Court. Daksh puts his seat belt, and sees Naina walking towards the rickshaw stand. He gets out and calls her, and she meets him. When he invites her to come with him, she refuses, and an argument ensures, in which, Naina loses her temper, and all her hidden emotions spurt out, and Daksh is spell bount finding himself at the receiving end. Naina accuses him of fathering Lekha's child, and he is upset, and tells her that it was true he told a lie, but it was to protect Sushant, who did not want Lekha to go through this operation, which would have given them a child. He as a brother, helped Lekha, and Naina\s mind cools down.
Daksh is in a tantrum, and refuses to eat his food, and Naina brings it up to him, and tells him it is not to take one's anger on food.
