Pratigya 8th April 2011 Written Update

We Find the Thakur's still eating the Choley Bature ** aur Kithne khaoge, Bus Bhi karo ** An excited Krishna blurts that he has planned to open a restaurant , All give him their undivided attention, squirming slightly under the focus lights , Krishna enthusiastically replies that as soon as the people of Allahabad eat a morsel of Pratigya's Chole Bature, All of them will go stir crazy and the Dhaba will do roaring Business. A seething Amma cant bear this adulation of Pratigya , chides Krishna for praising Pratigya so much, tartly says ..don't pump her so high that when she falls ,she might close her eyes permanently continuing the acid attack Amma says that even Piyasiya makes good Choleys..there is nothing special in Chole Bature and wonders why everybody are going hohohohoho ** her words, Not Mine **.. over choleys Krishna's excitement is not crushed by Amma's extra sweet talks, he thrusts a piece of Chole into Amma's Mouth,bids her to eat and exclaims that ain't Pratigya created a the most tasty Food on Earth ..Amma glares, Krishna turns towards the Poison Ivy Kesmma , seeks her opinion , Kesmma as usual supports Amma ..Sajjan Singh intervenes , tells Krishna not to be bothered by the demotivating talks of women, says that it is his father who is sponsoring his venture and not somebody's father ..Krishna gives a pleased smile ..Shakthi offers his advice , tells Krishna that he will send his friends to the restaurant He also suggests that Krishna should have Chicken-vicken and Liquor in the menu..Only this will pull in the customers..Shakthi quips that Krishna should start his business in large scale and should not play with the prestige ..It is Pratigya 's moment now..She delivers a Mini Speech on the sanctity of work and how it cannot be classified as big and small Amma cuts her saying ..There is such a thing as prestige and status and She doesn't want Krishna to become the laughing stock by turning into a Cook... Sajjan Singh has the last say and he very firmly tells Krishna to go Ahead !!
FLOOD ALERT AND MINOR TREMORS

Adarsh is sitting in his room not eating his dinner..Komal comes in with a plateful of steaming Roti , sees the full plate , gets concerned offers some platitudes and feeds him a morsel ...

In The Dining Room,The Movers and Shakers of Mumford ganj are sitting in front of the food..Nainaji serves everyone and takes her place ..Everybody wait for the God Of Sanskaar to break the first bread, Alas The God is moody and does not oblige, A hungry Dadi consoles Shyamu by saying that Bad things are happening ,but it is not ur fault ..Shyamu wants to be pilloried , refuses to be consoled , stands up ** 1.4 on Richter Scale ** anguishdly moans that Never in his wildest dreams did he think that Adarsh will do such a thing, He takes a look at the house ** 2.8 on Richter Scale ** cries out in pain that he build this house and filled its structure with Sanskaars, Principles,Values ** Must be a hollow House then ** and Now This very house is facing Division ....All The Sax's assume a Funeral Look ..

It is quite an advanced hour of Night, Adarsh is standing all alone in the kitchen , staring at the two stoves..Aarushi strolls out of her room sees Adarsh in the Kitchen .. Glides into the Kitchen, tries a little hand in emotional blackmailing by reminding Adarsh of their Rosy Childhood Days . Adarsh replies that he has not forgotten those days either, Aarushi swiftly moves towards the jugular, Aarushi pleads with Adarsh to stop Komal's acts of dividing the house , Adarsh retorts that why don't you thnk from Komal's POV, will any woman relish her husband being humiliated ,,Aarushi does not have an answer and lamely replies that Adarsh knows how their Father is, Adarsh very well knows ,instead of deigning to reply..Adarsh leaves the Kitchen ** End of tete **

BACK To AXN

Sajjan Singh is busily counting some currencies when Amma comes in, Noticing Amma's arrival, Sajjan Singh mutters to himself that Oh ! Dear here comes this woman to deliver her lecture ** Looks Like Lecture giving bug has bitten everybody**.. Amma queries as to why Sajjan Singh is helping Krishna instead of Stopping him from embarking in Mad cap Adventure, Amma argues that even Sajjan Singh's Mother makes Good Chole's but he never went into cooking business ..Sajjan Singh gives a wide smile at Amma , and in an calm collected voice states that he had never heard Amma praising Ghanti's cooking before and as regards Business advises Amma not to bring in Kitchen Politics into Men's domain and try to impose her will on what is essentially a business decision ..Sajjan Singh verbalizes quite carefully lest Amma miss the meaning altogether, Sajjan Singh expresses that Amma should let Men folk deal with this matter and he is supporting his son No matter what and inspite of his talks , if Amma still did not get it, he has another effective way of making things clearer, so saying , Sajjan Singh looks down at his shoes , and gives a meaningful look at Amma. Amma gets the message and locks her mouth .. ** Peace for few hours **

KRISHNA's BEDROOM

Krishna is sitting on the bed , deep in thought..Like a Good wife Pratigya nags him to change into night clothes.. Krishna throws it aside, still in the grip of excitement , seeks to know the difference between Hotel and restaurant from the all knowing oracle of Allahabad. Pratigya promptly highlights the difference , teases him for not knowing the difference despite having visited all the eateries of Allahabad, Krishna defensively retorts that he went to eat and never paid attention to all the useless stuff but now that he is thinking of starting his business, he wants to know everything...and besides he was only getting kanphirmasun [confirmation] from Pratigya ..Pratigya smiles mischievously and again tells him to put on the Night dress..Krishna is still in the Bijnees [business] World , informs Pratigya that he plans to open the restaurant with his phwarit [favorite] name PRATIGYA ..Pratigya
is pleased and happy but quickly declares that instead of Pratigya , it should be Krishna , since he is the one who is starting the Business and this would be his achievement ..But A adamant Krishna is stuck on PRATIGYA .. while an Equally stubborn Pratigya refuses the suggestion of PRATIGYA restaurant..having been checkmated ..Both remain quiet for a while ... Then Pratigya has a Eureka Moment , cries out in excitement that it should be " BABA KA DHABA ".. elucidates that this is how Krishna's parents call him and by using this name for the restaurant , Krishna will always be blessed by the presence of his parents..Krishna warms up to the name, agrees to it and goes to change while Pratigya looks n beaming ...

MIYA BIWI NAHI HAI RAZI

Kesar has finished her chores and comes into her room , She stops dead in her tracks ** How can anyone be dead and standing on their tracks, won't they fall down ** ..She looks with loathing at an lolling Shakthi, Perceiving her anger , Shakthi quickly recuses himself saying that it was Kesmma who forced him to come to the room, As Kesar looks on in suspicion, Kessmma enters and confirms Shakthi's assertion ..Kesmma adjures her daughter , tells her not to be a fool , and to forget the past and move on in her life ..Shakthi too comes closer to Kesar , conveys his desire to start their life anew and holds her hand ..Kesar is caught between this two and is unable to say anything..
