Kesar remains Adamant and stubbornly reiterates her intention of not staying in the Haveli.Sajjan Singh slowly gets up holding on to the arms of Krishna[ Is he the anointed one, whathever it is but quite moving], He uses all his persuasive powers into his oration and poignantly points out that how Kesar’s relatives never even came to visit her , not even a call or hai, how do u do from them, none even thought about her well being [points to ponder eh, Kesar] Sajjan Singh further turns on the screw he gently reminds her that he[ sajjan Singh] never hurt her [ no, just wanted to bury her],never abused her and in return for all his kindness ,he is asking for his Grand child [ Does he think, a child is a piece of cake to be given without a thought], He carries in on this vein creating a picture of a sad,old beaten man pleading for one last gift { Tanthya is sobbing her heart out for Sajjan, Yeah !! Right] …Just when it appears that Sajjan Singh is having some effect on Kesar, Pratigya jumps in to the fray [ why cant this girl stop meddling, why cant she wait for Kesar to state her final decision]..Pratigya walks upto Kesar hold on to Kesar and switches on her mike and delivers her lecture..Pratigya thunders that since Kesar is the one who is carrying the child [ I beg ur pardon, is there any way that carrying of a child be transferred on a monthly basis]]..The mother must decide as to where and how her child will grow [ Quite correct, if the mother is aware of all the pros n cons, has good backup, is financially sound and an ability to lead the life on her own terms..which unfortunately Kesar does not have]
Sajjan Singh will not be railroaded by Pratigya’s lecture, still clothed in the sad old man mode, Sajjan gently and wearily replies saying that He has seen many pregnancies and therefore more qualified to [ give bhashan] take care of Kesar,[thereby effectively putting Pratigya in her place]. Sajjan Singh further elaborates that A father is needed for for good upbringing of the child [ Certainly not someone like Shakthi, Bauji ]…Pratigya seizes this opening and pounces on Sajjan Singh’s frail shoulder by retorting tartly that Shakthi is no Vasudev [Lord Krishna's father] but is a Kams[ Lord Krishna's uncle hell bent on killing Lord Krishna] . Sajjan Singh valiantly tries to parry this thrust by blaming Shakthi’s stupidity and short temper .
Sajjan Singh then counter Attacks by calmly saying that I am a father, I changed after my son’s were born Similarly Shakthi too will change and as a further proof of his fatherdom, Sajjan Singh points a finger at Krishna and says this boy never lost an opportunity to put me down after marriage[ was that a guilty flicker in Krishna's eyes] , he and his wife [ Pratigya] made me a laughing stock of Allahabad, Yet I kept them on..why ??? bec blood is thicker than water ..cos I can see my son starving on the streets[ Election's are far away Bauji, why all this platitudes ]…Sajjan Singh seems to be swaying Kesar’s resolve when Bell tolls, Ghanti Dadi Says that Kesar was abused in this house [ eee lo, you are saying this as if u have discovered it today]..
Sajjan Singh accepts this charge with appropriate shame and humility , ruefully acknowledges that Yes Kesar was indeed abused and tortured , quickly assures Ghanti Dadi that henceforth such Abuses and torture is history and if Shakthi even utters a harsh word then Shakthi will be roasting, assures Kesar that she is free to leave after the baby is born ,….. [ giving a meaningful look at Amma ] He quietly and with controlled anger grits out that Amma will be facing dire consequences if she as much as sneezed at Kesar. Amam assures that she will not even breath when Kesar is around and will the personal maid of Kesar’s until the arrival of the baby.
But Pratigya has not done her bit yet, She says that when Kesar does not want to stay here, why are you forcing her , Amma butts in venoumsly saying that Pratigya can never be happy when there is a chance of something good happening in the Haveli. sajjan Singh sagely replies that all this is happening because of their blind love[ they accepted and solemnized Krishna Pratigya alliance]…Pratigya will not be quietened by this words and again protests the pressure being piled on Kesar [ A kesar who has become Ghanti Dadi today ]…Sajjan Singh has had enough and tells Pratigya to zip it [ politely ofcourse] orders everyone to head for their respective rooms and sleep out the remaining of the night….It looks as if Pratigya has become the conjoined twin of Kesar and unwilling to move away from Kesar’s side, Sajjan Singh tells Krishna to take Pratigya and go to their room , Krishna hurries forward coaxes and forces Pratigya , eventually going off to their room…The living room soon empties leaving only Sajjan Singh and Kesar …Sajjan Singh approaches Kesar , in a voice dripping menace cautions Kesar and warns her against running away again.
How can any episode end without our daily share of bitter Pills….without much ado we seek out the Saxena’s……………..
The saxena’s barring Komal And Adarsh are holding a midnight meeting ..Aarushi is aggravated by Adarsh’s betrayal, she begins to rile against Adarsh saying how can Adarsh support a wrong doing…Daaadi quickly pulls the rug from under her feet exclaiming that even Aarushi married a married man, she repented after realizing the error of her ways, Daadi expresses her support for Adarsh’s stance and says Adarsh did the right thing, but Nainaji does not agree[ looks like they have had too much of samosas n Tea, and will keep at it all night]Shyamu saxena brings the meeting to a halt by reiterating that Adarsh can never do any wrong… [ Boy , I am looking forward to the day when u will eat ur words]

Kesar is peacefully sleeping on the bed, when a door opens and Shakthi comes, he walks into the bed room glares at Sleeping Kesar , his face twists in fury , he locks the door of his bed room , sits on the bed and begins to strangle Kesar.Kesar begins to toss and thrash around while her terrified eyes are fixed on implacable Shakthi who is busily squeezing her neck..

Amma comes in to the bedroom looking for Kesar, her cheerful demeanor freezes to shock when she discovers that Kesar is not in her bed… Amma Thinks that Kesar has run away again…
