The scene starts out with Shelly asking Abha to tell them the truth. In Frustration Abha snaps "yes, I knew that he wasn't my Karan!" everyone is shocked. Abha continues that even after that she stayed in the same room with him. All the ladies start gossiping. Abha is sad and she looks around and says "but only for my family. For my Karan. But I didn't feel even once that I did anything wrong, because I knew that Karan would never question my purity. But I didn't know that Karan would never come back." Shelly is wide-eyed. Ranchod is irritated at the family.
Karan, lying on the bed, and opens his eyes and looks around saying Abha.
Abha says, "There is a reason behind this. Ma, Karan and I found out that Yasho was planning to take over Swarn Bhavan. But before we could tell you, she had Karan's accident. When Karan talked to me for the last time he only said one thing [Flashback of Karan on the phone saying that they need to save Pratibha and Swarn Bhavan]. They couldn't let yasho win. They couldn't let anyone hurt their family". She goes to Vimil and says, "I saw with my own eyes when Karan's car fell off the cliff. I looked for him everywhere, but I failed. But then suddenly Siddarthji came in front of me, whose face was exactly like Karan's. Even I misunderstood the first time, but then I found out that he was an actor. To complete Karan's last wish and to save Swarn Bhavan, I had no choice, but to bring Siddarthji home as Karan. Believe me, he has helped a lot. Its only thanks to him that yasho is out of the house." Everyone looks at Ranchod and are shocked.
Karan is calling out Abha's name and tries to get up, but is unable to. The doctor lady comes and runs to fix him. She starts crying. Karan continues to call Abha. She tells Karan to talk. Karan tries to say abha's name out loud. But Doctor lady is not able to understand.
Abha tells Pratibha that even Sanskar know this. She says that, when she couldn't figure anything out, she called sanskar to Mumbai. Remember when Sanya was having her delivery, Sanskar wasn't here. He was in Mumbai with me. Call him and you can ask him how I was dealing with this" Pratibha puts her hand on Abha's cheek.
Shelly screams, "Wow". She goes to Abha and tells her, "Who's justification are you giving? Sanskars? Who, himself, tried to destroy your life? And you want us to believe that liar? Leave him, but you? Everyone loves you, and your everyones favourite. And you? Lied to everyone?!?" Abha is pained.
PRECAP: Shelly tells abha that she has no right to live here and takes her arms and drags her to the front door, ignoring everyone trying to stop her, Throwing Abha to the ground.
Shelly says, "look towards ma. She considers you as a devi. Papa and ma both consider you as a devi, and you, behind their backs, have been doing this? Knowing that this man is not your husband, you stayed with him day and night? Why did you lie to everyone? We cant even blame Ranchod for this, he didn't even know that this family is his, but you? You knew everything and you still broke everyones heart? Ma, ask her, why didn't she tell everyone that Karan was Missing? She could have told Papa, The police, Vimil; but no! She had to GREAT, even if she has to stay with a stranger". Abha screams out that she did want to tell everyone, but papa's health had deteriorated. She Was scared that something might happen to jaggu. Shelly is furious.
Jaggu comes and says "stop Abha" Everyone looks at Jaggu with Questions in their eyes. Jaggu continues, "You don't need to explain yourself. Shelly, you should think before you put such lowly accusations on others. This is karans wife, and our son Ranchod your talking about"
Shelly is "hurt" and screams out, "fine, im always the one who is wrong, especially now that I told her to tell the truth.".
One of the ladies says that this girl lives in this house still? She should be thrown out immediately. Another lady says Who knows if this child is actually Karans.
Abha has had enough and yells at them to stop, " I don't need your judgement. My god knows im telling the truth. Karan had full trust on me, thats why he sent Siddarthji to take care of us" Everyone is quiet. Abha goes to "chichi" and grabs her arms and says that if her daughter had done the same thing then would she have suspected her daughter? "chichi" is quiet. Pratibha is crying and everyone looks on. Abha continues that, "A man and woman can only have one relationship. Its a sin to save your family and mother-in-law? If so, then fine. I have committed sin. But you will not give me punishment, my family will".
Ranchod says that these are the elders, to pay respects. She [referring to Abha] gave you an answer and everyones mouth is shut? Such dirty minds, that they don't even trust their Daughter in law?
Shelly remarks that of course you'll defend her, since your in on it too. "chor chor, mausere bhai"
Jaggu scolds Shelly saying that this is our son Ranchod. Ranchod, stops him and says "don't do this father son drama. I haven't gotten the right of a son, so I wont give you the right to be my father. I don't want to be the son of this house. Im only here because of the promise to Karan."
Shelly says, we don't want you in the house. Everyone looks at her. Shelly goes to abha and says, "you have no right to stay here" and grabs her arm and drags her to the door, ignoring everyones protests, and throws her to the ground. Pratibha comes.
PRECAP: Jaggu comes down the stairs and sees the envelope for abha.
Pratibha comes and says that "if anyone looks at my Daughter In Law then it wont be good. We don't need to find out from others of our daughters purity". Abha cries. Pratibha goes to "CHICHI" and tells her to get out.
Everyone is mad. The ladies don't leave, vimil says the same thing, GET OUT. Vimil comments on the scene that has been created. Ranchod says that they didn't create it the scene, but someone from our own family did. Shelly is nervous. Ranchod goes to shelly and says, "I can say a lot, shelly bhabhi. But im trying to respect people like Karan." He says to everyone, "listen. If anyone points at Abha. Then I will drop to my real status. I'm very heavy [figuratively speaking]" he goes to "chichi" and tells her if she doesn't understand then he can give her a retake, since he is very good at it. "Chichi" leaves. Ranchod turns back and tells the other ladies if they are here for food. He tells them to go meet "chichi" and ruin someone else's family. The ladies leave. Vimil agrees With Ranchod that he won't hear anything against Abha either and leaves. Slowly everyone leaves but Shelly.
Shelly is pissed. And thinks that next time Abha will be thrown from everyone's hearts.
Doctor Lady is being mental and is asking Karan to talk, while rubbing his hand (he's in a temporary coma, he's not going wake up on a whim just to talk to you... god). Her mom walks in and tells her to get ready because a guy is coming to see her. Doctor Lady refuses. Mama is angry. Doctor lady says that her patients are very important to her. Karan thinks about Abha, how she is doing, who is taking care of her. Mama comes and says that she does know. But society doesn't understand. They might think that you have something. Doctor lady interrupts and says that he and she had a relationship before? Doctor lady says that she doesn't care, she has an responsibility to fulfill and she took an oath to do it. She refuses to meet anyone. Mama is angry and goes from there.
Abha remembers the ladies words about her and ranchod. She thinks about Karan and wishes that she was with him. She cant live without him, she wishes him back.
Jaggu is walking down the stairs when he sees the envelope with abhas name; he goes to it and picks it up, and opens it. Karans photo is on the back.
TOMORROW: shelly is going through newspapers and drops the one with Karans picture. She picks it up and stares at it in shock.
Im sick and tired of Shelly now. Pratibha needs to talk and not just stand there while abha is abused by Shelly. She's the mother in law for a reason. vimil needs to control his wife. Abha needs to tell shelly to back off.
jaggu needs to talk more.
Eh? the elders have no power do they? Their just there for show lol.
The doctor lady needs to be a doctor. She knows that Karan cant really talk, yet she tells him to when he's sleeping? he's not going to wake up just to give her company. Hes going to wake up when he feels abha's pain. Then talk to him. And if she does see him awake and trying to talk maybe she should shutup and actually try to listen to what he's saying and not go hysterical on him. DUH!
