Akruti, is calling Ayush, on the phone. She tells him that she can not accept the ear rings. They have some to and fro dialog, and finally, he tells her that he bought these ear rings for her, and she should keep them. He says to himself, "I will have another reason to visit you."
After Naina left the office in the morning she has been wandering aimlessly in the city, where it is blowing strongly and the weather is very bad, thinking of everything that went wrong. She tries to get a rickshaw to go home. From this it appears, she is somewhere in North Bombay, as there are no rickshaws beyond Bandra, towards South Bombay. It is not shown exactly in which part of Mumbai is the office of Daksh. But Naina finds to her chagrin, that there are no rickshaws plying as it is a Rickshaw Strike. She decides that she has to walk all the way to Bandra.
She walks slowly, and by the time she reaches a deserted part of the city, it is turning late. She is very tired, and sits near a tea shop, on a bench. There are some loafers watching her, and think she is a love bird waiting for her lover. Finally, as it turns very late, she gets up and starts walking and the loafers follow her.
In the house, the wives of the two elder Patwardhans are busy preparing garlands. Vidhyadhar Patwardan comes home with Akruti, and the wives are surprised that he came so early. He tells them that Akruti tried to ride the bike and is very happy, but Kaka comes and tells them to leave his daughter alone, and he does not want her to be maimed and her wedding prospects jeopardized. and walks away. His elder brother ignores him.
In the office, Daksh is not able to concentrate. The peon brings a file from Mr. Chaterjee, and later he calls Daksh. The day wears off, and it is time for him to close and go home.
Naina has spent all this time sitting on the bench, and night has fallen, and she tells herself, that she has to walk home, and starts to walk. The young goons, try to follow her and take advantage of Naina, and say some rude things which comes out easily from the mouths of low street characters like these. She shouts at them and ask them why they are following her, and to leave her alone. They start chasing Naina, and she tries to break loose, but they over power her.
Naina starts running and along the way, loses one shoe, and still she keeps running, and twice she tries to call Daksh but he in his anger, cuts the calls. Second call he takes and when she tells him she is in need of his help, he tells her that he has no time for her fake stories, and shuts the phone. One of the goons snatches her hand and her phone falls down on the road. Then she puts her hand in her bag, and takes a can, sprays mace on their faces, and they are stuck, rubbing their eyes, and Naina runs away. However they follow her some time later. In the meantime she has run for a long distance and she is dead tired and exhausted and falls down and faints. The goons come and throw her dupatta away and take carry her away to a lonely warehouse, to molest her. In the warehouse, they tie her up, and gag her mouth, and as she struggles, they take pictures of her with their mobile.
Daksh closes his office, and gets into his car and goes home. He passes that lonely stretch of road, which Naina had already had traveled. Somewhere along the way, Daksh's car stalls, and he gets out. As he walks, Naina's dupatta, flies and comes and stops at his feet, and looking down, he notices that it belongs to Naina. He calls out to her, as he is walking ahead. Then he makes a call to her on his phone, and hears a phone ringing on the road, and sees Naina's phone and picks it up.
He knows by now, that she is in trouble. He goes along the way, calling her name, and when he comes near the warehouse, he hears some voices, and goes and sees the loafers molesting Naina. A fight ensues, four goons fighting one lonely Daksh, the heroic young man. We find that he is a karate expert too. It would have been nice, if we had been shown earlier that he used to be going jogging in the park and taking part in the nearby gymnasium then the fight could have been more realistic and believable. Now it looks like an after thought of one of the creatives who has hurriedly arranged a fight scene to entertain the viewers, who they must have been thinking have been bored with the scenes so far. They have misjudged the pulse of the viewers. Anyway, we thank them for making this scene for us.
Coming back to the fight, Daksh finds some base ball bats, and so too the goons. Base ball bats in a warehouse? Perhaps it was a sports warehouse. But the crude and vulgar goons get thrashed, and run away, and Daksh finds Naina in a daze, with her hands tied. He loosens the rope and throws it down, and shakes Naina holding on to her shoulders, and then she wakes up, and just hugs Daksh that she has been saved.
We see next a courier has come to Patwardan house, and Rohini happens to be there and thinks that he might have brought her reports. Ayee opens the door, and takes the reports, and sees that the letter has been addressed to Rohini who comes fast to the place and snatches the reports from Ayee's hands and she just stares at her in disbelief.
