Maheshwari is telling Daima that the family needs her a lot...maybe even more than herself. Padma says it's nothing like that and Rohan agrees. He says they don't have any complaints against her, they just think that she shouldn't get Dev married against his wishes. Padma says yes, that such a little thing was blown out of proportion. She apologises and Maheshwari, who's shedding her crocodile tears, wipes them. Padma says all she wants is that a big decision like marriage shouldn't be forced onto anyone. Maheshwari says what everyone wants, only that will happen. Viraat looks shocked. M says Dev and Chanda's marriage will not take place. Padma is happy and asks that they're doing Rohan and Radhika's wedding preparations now only right? M nods her head and they're all happy except Viraat. M says tomorrow they will go to give their Choti Bahu "Bihariji's chola" (veil/stole)
Mohini comes there and says but they don't have the chunari as yet...she will have go find it to give. Padma says not to worry about all that, everything will be ready in time. Gopaldas makes them all laugh with his faltu shayari...with the exception of M who is furious. She thinks that when Shanti gets to know that Chanda's wedding will not take place who know what storms she'll create! LOL
Dev is in his room sitting on the windowsill. He is sadly thinking that he should have taken Badi Maa aside and explained everything to her alone. He shouldn't have said no in front of everyone like that. He thinks that he has insulted her, broken her heart.
