STR starts His Next Movie ‘Vettai Mannan’

Silambarasan aka STR is on a roll. Even as he is busy with ‘Vaanam’ and ‘Podaa Podi’, the actor will start shooting for ‘Vettai Mannan’, his other forthcoming venture, from today.

To be produced by S S Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, the film, which is an action entertainer according to Silambarasan, will be directed by Nelson, who is none other than his longtime associate.

“It has been a long time since I acted in an action movie. ‘Vettai Mannan’ will fill the gap. Nelson has been working with me right from ‘Manmadhan’ days. When he came up with a racy subject, I grabbed it,” says the actor.

STR feels the movie has great title value for it has Mannan in it – a yesteryear Rajinikanth’s film title. “We initially wanted to name the film Vettaiyan but zeroed in on Vettai Raja finally due to the non-availability of the title,” he says.
