Sushmita Sen finally break its decade-long jinx at the Miss Universe 2011
Sushmita Sen is hopeful that India will finally break its decade-long jinx at the Miss Universe 2011. The actress, who bought the franchise for selecting the Miss Universe India last year, says preparations have begun for the ‘I Am She’ contest.

Stays away from promotions of No Problem
Sushmita Sen is conspicuous by her absence from the promotions of No Problem.
The actress is missing from the photo and posters of the movie as well. Some posters have her snapshots pasted on it as if as an afterthought.
The comic caper, which stars Anil Kapoor (who is also the producer), Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Kangna Ranaut, has the cast (except Sush) featured prominently on the posters.
Says a source, "The actress stayed away from the photo shoots of the film.
Due to which she does not feature in the posters. As damage control, they have used her film stills on some posters."
So what is upsetting Sush?
Says an insider, "She feels Anil Kapoor is hogging all the attention. Sush is a diva in her own right and felt that she was not being promoted enough.
While Anil has been travelling all over promoting the film and even came on Bigg Boss with Akshaye Khanna, Sush was not invited. The actress is feeling hurt and has decided to stay away from the promotions."
But according to co-producer Rajat Rawail, "Sushmita is very much part of the promotions. It is just that she is not in town. Of late, she has been travelling a lot. She was in Dubai recently."
Her spokesperson maintains, "She has been extremely busy of late."
The insider adds, "Things are not exactly as it appears. Sushmita has always been frank and forthright. There have been issues between her and the makers.
She feels it is better to keep mum and stay away from the media glare." When asked what the problem was, Anil quipped, "No Problem."

I'm in no hurry to get married, Sushmita
Former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is turning 35 this Friday and the she is all set to celebrate the D-day in her own way, completely different than how she has celebrated before. She would be flying to her mother in Dubai with her two adopted daughters, Renee and Alisah but minus any man.
This is a high time that Sush get married, we think so but the lady who lives life on her own terms doesn’t think so. Her answer is, "I'm in no hurry. But I do know marriage will happen only once in my life. Whoever I select will be with me for keeps."
So what’s keeping her busy now, she replied, "At the moment my entire attention is on my two girls. By God's grace my elder one Renee is turning into quite an accomplished little lady. As for the newest Sen in the house, Alisah is so bright and inquisitive. My mom says I was exactly like her in my child."
Just before leaving for Dubai, Sushmita said, "It's going to be an all-girls' birthday for me this time. Three generations of Sen women, all together. I'm so excited about it."
In the past, she had a relationship with director Vikram Bhatt, actor Randeep Hooda and hotelier Sanjay Narang.
Well, the next man would surely be the one whom she would hitch for the lifelong.

Sushmita Sen 35th Birthday Celebration In Dubai Nov 19
Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is heading to Dubai with her two adopted daughters to celebrate her 35th birthday Nov 19. “At the international airport with kids flying to Dubai to bring in birthday with mom… and what a mess at d airport!

Sushmita’s spirits for her birthday break already seem dampened. “Entire airport evacuated… all passengers standing out in the heat, flying tempers, raised voices… what a way to begin!! Truly sad,” she wrote. The former Miss Universe, who has featured in films like “Biwi No.1?, “Main Hoon Na” and “Do Knot Disturb”, adopted her first daughter named Renee in 2000. She adopted another girl in January this year, and named her Alisah.
