Samsung has announced a new smartphone namely, Samsung Gem SCH-i100 officially. It comes with a lot of high-end features such as 3.2-inch WQVGA Touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera, swype virtual keyboard etc. The device’s screen is made with advanced anti-scratch, anti-smudge, and anti-reflective glass as well as able to types with Swype, the innovative one fingered system which enables users to slide fingers from key to key and only raise it between words. This touchscreen smartphone of Sasmung will be powered by 800MHz processor which allows fastest web browsing, downloading, and uploading as well as it runs on Google Android 2.1 Eclair operating system.

The Samsung Gem SCH-i100 Smartphone supports social networking services and can access 100,000 Android Apps. It measures 4.48 x 2.18 x 0.48 inches and weighs 3.85 ounces. The touchscreen device also support for various types of music player formats i.e., WAV, MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, and AMR-WB. Its Lithium-ion battery provides up to 800 hours of stand by time and talk time up to 410 minutes
