Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover promoted ‘I am Kalam’ here on Friday. Grover said that the film is inspired by the former President of India, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. “The name of this film ‘I am Kalam’, has got inspiration from our ex-President of India Dr. Kalam saying that every child has right to education.
All these things, all these sounds preachy very moralistic and all,” said Grover. Grover appreciated the storyline of the movie and said that the end result is also good. “Everything that a story must have, there are heartaches, there are achievements, there is friendship, there are diverse circumstances and all is woven together so beautifully in a film called ‘I am Kalam’,” said Grover.
Directed by debutant Nila Madhab Panda, the film casts Gulshan Grover, French actress Beatrice Ordeix, and child actor Harsh Mayar. The movie deals with the story of a poor boy who is a great fan of former President of India, A P J Abdul Kalam. The film is slated to be release in January 2011. (ANI)
