Karnataka (DLN): Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has announced results 2011 for B.E / B.Tech 3rd Sem exams. VTU results 2011 have been uploaded at the official website of VTU but the site is now working at the moment due to heavy traffic. Students are advised to try after sometime so that they would not face any problem in getting VTU results.
Visvesvaraya Technological University is a Public technical university located in Karnataka with its Head Office in Belgaum. It has 4 Regional Offices at Bangalore, Mysore, Gulbarga and Belgaum.
VTU was set up on 1 April 1998 to improve the quality of technical education and to cater the increasing need for technological manpower of Karnataka. VTU is named after the only engineer to be awarded a Bharat Ratna – Sir M.Visvesvaraya.
The University is a member of a national body Association of Indian Universities and an international organization Association of Commonwealth Universities.
VTU is one of the largest and prestigious Technological Universities in the country. The University has 186 Engineering colleges affiliated to it.
