A Phillumy episode !!
The Saxena's rush to the hospital , closely following them would be the Thakur Women ..Amma comes towards Krishna,worriedly enquires whether he has been hurt , checks over his body,assures herself that Krishna is alright ..leaves the stage for Shyamu..
...Shyamu Saxena , looks at Krishna , quietly seeks the reason for the hospitalization of Pratigya ..Krishna is rendered Speechless and cast his eyes here and there ,unable to meet Shyamu's eye..It is Sajjan Singh who provides the explanation, Sajjan Singh states that Pratigya has been shot..Shyamu is shocked, forgets that he has to vibrate and stands still , tears gather in his eyes...But Nainaji being the dutiful wife , carries the baton forgotten by Shyamu, Nainaji begins to vibrate, approaches Krishna , squeaks shrilly demanding to know who shot Pratigya , Why was she shot etc etc , Krishna dredges up his inner most courage , mumbles that He shot Pratigya, All the assembled Saxena's are shocked..Nainaji recovers ,gathers herself to deliver the ultimate Sax weapon... Nainaji unleashes a stinging SLAP on Krishna's cheeks ..Sajjan singh looks on in Anger , but controls himself..Nainaji demands to know why Krishna shot Pratigya, what wrong did Pratigya do ..Krishna has no answer..Amma stands up to Nainaji, defends her Son , Amma chides Nainaji for even assuming that Krishna is capable of killing Pratigya, Says that Krishna's life resides in Pratigya, Krishna may hurt himself or even kill himself but will never allow a scratch on Pratigya ...Amma confidently says that Krishna would never harm Pratigya ...Chandu Pips and says That Amma is right, The Bullet hit Pratigya accidentally..Tunna endorses this saying that Krishna was aiming at Radhe who had misbehaved with Pratigya but Pratigya came in between to save Krishna from being accused of Murder..The Saxena's appear to have descended ** very reluctantly** from their pulpit...Amma asserts in quiet triumph..Did Not I say that Krishna will never harm Pratigya ..Nainaji shuffles towards a chair and sits on it ..crying to herself ** Thankfully the idea of Bhajan has not entered yet ** Krishna slowly leaves his mother's side..sits down on the floor by Nainaji , tells her she can slap him as much as she wants to, but pleads with her to save Pratigya..Krishna breaks down..Nainaji consoles him.
Meanwhile Inside the Op Theater, the Doc operating on Pratigya exclaims that the bullet is lodged very close to the heart and the longer it remains there, the greater will be the danger in keeping her alive ..The Doc leaves to summon a senior Doctor ...The Doctor comes out and is surrounded by Krishna and the clan ..But The doctor orders a ward boy to get an Oxygen cylinder ..A ward comes in dragging the Cylinder..Krishna grabs the Cylinder, quickly rushes in and hands it over to the Doctor ..The Doctor orders Krishna out despite Krishna's plea of standing near his Jaan Pratigya ..Krishna leaves, finally worn down by guilt ..He comes out like a Zombie ..Shyamu looks in concern..Amma , A greatly worried Amma follows quietly by his side..Sajjan SIngh is on the other side, comforting Krishna saying over and over again that Nothing will happen to Pratigya ..Krishna is not hearing all this ..He is just walking away , without any expression..lost in his own sad world.
Adarsh too comes to the Hospital, meets a Doc by the Desk, enquires about Pratigya ..The Doc confirms that patient by name Pratigya has indeed been admitted with a bullet wound,,and her condition is quite critical..Adarsh requests the Doctor to save Pratigya at any cost , not to worry about the expenditure , he will foot the bill..A hand is laid on his shoulders , It is Shyamu, who pompously says that Adarsh's Money is not needed to save Pratigya and that her father Shyamu Saxena is still alive to take care of her ...This By play is watched with contempt by Sajjan Singh ..Adarsh looks in shock..but remains quiet..Sajjan Singh merely shakes his head at Shyamu's actions , contenting himself with a disdainful smile.
TEMPLE
In a True Filmy style, We find Krishna wandering into a temple ..Krishna demands to know as why Pratigya was punished when she herself was the victim..Krishna pleads with the Lord to save Pratigya...Bells begins to toll by themselves, a Strong breeze begins to blow ..as if carrying Krishna's prayer's to the ear's of the Lord...Krishna further says that The Lord being kindhearted should save Pratigya else He, Krishna Singh Thakur will tell the whole world that there is no God , it is only a statue ** The Lord fearing such a bad publicity will of course help out Krishna **
BACK TO HOSPITAL..
we are presented with the glorious vision of Nainaji ..shaking and vibrating ..She tearfully demands to know the condition of Pratigya .. Nainaji is fearfull that something bad might happen ..Shyamu Saxena soothes her , says God is there , he will take care ..Nainaji retorts that she believes in God yet wonders why all this calamity befalls Pratigya ** Don't get me started, I beg You ** ..Just then , The Doctor comes out and declares that the next 24 hours are critical ..refuses to commit himself .
PRECAP
Pratigya is brought out from the operation theater, She is unconscious ..Krishna reaches from the temple just then ..Runs towards Pratigya's side...urges her to wake,open her eyes..wants to know if everything is alright ...
